The stereo cabinet, end table and coffee table were the first things that I made in the shop with the sloping dirt floor at 3225 Sacramento Street. The stereo cabinet has no back, which made it quite wobbly. The rails on the table are fitted into notches chiseled in the legs and the edge banding on the solid wood tops was glued on tightly. I suppose that is why the tops split even before the rails started falling off. The purchasing department at my employer kindly ordered the walnut lumber for me. 1964
