I entered this Redwood cradle in the Boonville Fair And Apple Show in 1974 and I believe that it won a blue ribbon. More importantly, it was noticed by a man from Sonoma County who ordered something from me almost every year for 40 years and who showed me that it would be possible to find local Walnut and Maple trees, have them milled into lumber, and make furniture out of them. The cradle was photographed in front of the Navarro Machine Shop. 1973
